Write a device driver that runs at Ring 0

: (b) light up a dot using the ordinary nt interfaces

Use the appropriate Win32 level 4 API call.

: (c) light up a dot using active x

Never tried that.

: (d) light up a dot using direct x

Use the DirectDraw interface API.

Use the Console API.

I'm not sure what you mean by reliable ? You mean without interference
from the sheduler ?

You mean AdaGraph isn't realtime ? <g&d>
