Introduction to Software Engineering
Course Description: The course will introduce the student to
the goals and principles of software engineering and how
they are applied at various stages of software development
and maintenance. The course will focus on the products,
processes, and techniques used in engineering software
throughout the software lifecycle. Among the topics to
    be discussed are:
      The Software Capability Maturity Model
      Software Project Planning
      Software Requirements Analysis
      Software Design
      Coding and Testing Issues
      Software Maintenance
      Reusable Software
      Object Oriented Programming
      Functional Decomposition
      Software Metrics

Ada Programming Language 1
Course Description: The course will be a comprehensive
presentation of the main features of the Ada programming
lanaguage. The student will have the opportunity to code
    program exercises that deal with: program structures;
    data manipulation; conditional operations; computational
operations; variable and type declarations; arrays, strings,
and record handling; procedures and functions; packages
and generic units. Upon completion, the student will be
able to design, code, compile and test a complex Ada
    program for correct results.
Discussions of Ada95 features will be included in the class.

Software Engineering with Ada
Course Description: This course will provide an in-depth and
detailed introduction to Software Engineering for MIS
applications, goals and principles. It will also provide
practical experience in the use of Ada and the Software
Engineering principles it supports. This course will
    include labs.

Ada Programming Language 2

basic knowledge of Ada and teaches how to effectively
apply advanced features of the language. Daily workshops
    are included.

Object Oriented Design with Ada
Course Description: This course introduces the application of
Object Oriented techniques and concepts to the development
of Ada MIS projects from both the requirements and design
aspects. This course will include labs.

Software Reuse with Ada
Course Description: This course introduces the concept of
reusable component techniques for Ada application design.
    This course will include labs.
