A report is available from DTIC (or NTIS for those spending your own
money) originating from the Air Force Institute of Technology, titled

"Filtering, Coding and Compression with Malvar Wavelets".
	ADA 274055
	by S.R. Hall, 156 pages

The work was done in Ada, and the report probably lists some nice source code,
as do many other AFIT reports (most of which still aren't Ada). If you are
into wavelets, it's probably worth checking out the report. AFIT and NPS
reports tend to be nice explanations of some programming topic with useful
source code listings (or AFIT/NPS contact points to get the source code).

You know, one of the side effects of surveying programming language use inside
the DoD (beyond having the information to properly manage Ada policies) is that
tons of collections of code like this would be made better known to those using
Ada.
