I know this is somewhat off-topic for c.l.a., but I was wondering if
anyone else had run into this problem and could point me towards a
solution. I'm using Gnat 3.13p and the 'glide' Emacs extension on Emacs
20.7 on a Debian Linux 2.3 (Sid) box, and the problem is that the
speedbar insists on coming up at a width of 80 characters rather than
the 20 specified in speedbar-frame-parameters. It's a minor, but very
annoying problem, and nothing I've tried has worked. Even when I think
I've set it so that _every_ possible Emacs frame will come up at a 20-char
width, they all _do_ come up 20-chars wide _except_ the stupid
speedbar! Has anyone else encountered this behavior before?

Larry
