* weird error message after gnat installation

hello,
i just downloaded and installed gnat-gpl-2005 on my system
i made this simple test program
procedure test is begin null; end;
and i got this error message

i retried the download and the install but no change.
any idea on how to fix that?
my system is a linux fedora core 5, kernel 2.6.16-1.2096
gnatls -v
   -> GNATLS GPL 2005
gcc -v
   -> gcc version 3.4.5

A few days ago, some postings have referred to difficulties
with FC 5 and how to overcome them. Do they help in your
case?

Yes, this rings abell with me too.  It seems to be related to the fact
that programs running on recent Red Hat kernels have non-executable
stacks.

yes it seems to be a bug with my kernel version
i tried with 2.6.15 instead of 2.6.16 and this works fine

You obviously didn't find my reply to Brian B. McGuinness, where I wrote:

I believe that's what Georg referred to. This way you won't get stuck 
with Linux 2.6.15 and miss important security updates.
