Is there a simple way of hiding a blinknig cursor in
text application ?

Send the appropriate escape sequence to your VT100.

A Google search should provide a list of the escape sequences.

If your hardware environment is other than a VT100 at the end of a
serial line, you might specify it in whatever operating system or
hardware newsgroup is appropriate.
