Hi,

I'm for the first time here.
I'm just starting programming with ADA and I have a problem
with dynamic structures in ADA.
How to write a simple address book using ADA?
Does anyone has any example source code?

I will be greateful for any help :))

diego

Sounds a lot like a homework problem. We don't generally do homework for
students here - unless the pay is really great :-)

If you're studying dynamic data structures, you'll have to think of your
address book problem as some form of dynamic list or map or tree. Take a
look at what you've studied so far - that ought to give you a hint about
what your prof wants you to build. Take a stab at some kind of design and
implementation. If you get stuck with specific features, you're apt to find
help here if you ask specific enough questions and show examples of the code
you have attempted.

Anything specific? Or is the whole business confusing?

Maybe you will stay longer :-)

This sounds like a typical laboratory project, isn't it?

I don't think, that there is any reason to give you complete
solution. The best way will be if you read some about _Ada_
and then do it yourself.
There is a nice book by John English available on-line - it
is great help for students and Ada-beginners. You will find
there answer to your question and many, many more useful
information. Address:
http://www.it.bton.ac.uk/staff/je/adacraft/
(you may download zipped version).

Also, visit:

or if you have no time:

to find other ineresting resources

Mike

PS. Are you from Poland? What university do you study at?

Please, oh please, give us a bit of background information on this.

Are you writing a commercial piece of software, or is this just a student
exercise? What OS, what compiler, what tools do you have? Is this for a GUI?
Why are you using Ada? (not that I'm actually questioning this choice yet
;-)
