* LDAP ADA API/SDK ? @ 2001-03-06 22:14 Anonymous 2001-03-07 0:49 ` Jeff Creem 0 siblings, 1 reply; 2+ messages in thread From: Anonymous @ 2001-03-06 22:14 UTC (permalink / raw) [-- Warning: decoded text below may be mangled, UTF-8 assumed --] [-- Attachment #1: Type: text/plain, Size: 748 bytes --] Hi there, I am currently making some researches about LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) for my master's thesis (mmoire) in computer science at the Universite Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium). After a few searches on the most used web-search engines, I haven't found any information about an (hypothetical) ADA API (Advanced programming Interface) or SDK (Source Developper Kit) for LDAP. Most languages have their own LDAP API/SDK (C, Java, Perl etc) and I wondered if someone hasn't heard about some ADA (95) bindings ? Thanks for replying directly to my email given hereafter, Alain Delava -- Alain "Harfang" Delava 3e Maitrise en Informatique, U.L.B. If it is win32 based try using an ActiveX or COM component and building the binding to it using GNATCOM (http://www.adapower.com/gnatcom/index.html) GNATCOM produces very very nice bindings with almost no work on your part. For example use http://www.polonia-online.com/ldap/ for the ActiveX library and www.adapower.com "Anonymous" <Anonymous@anonymous.org> wrote in message news:983nan$20vf$1@rivage.news.be.easynet.net... > Hi there, > > I am currently making some researches about LDAP (Lightweight > Directory Access Protocol) for my master's thesis (mmoire) in > computer science at the Universite Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium). > > After a few searches on the most used web-search engines, I haven't > found any information about an (hypothetical) ADA API (Advanced > programming Interface) or SDK (Source Developper Kit) for LDAP. > > Most languages have their own LDAP API/SDK (C, Java, Perl etc) and I > wondered if someone hasn't heard about some ADA (95) bindings ? > > Thanks for replying directly to my email given hereafter, > > Alain Delava > > -- > Alain "Harfang" Delava > 3e Maitrise en Informatique, U.L.B. > > Email : adelava@ulb.ac.be > Web : http://harfang.dyndns.org > ICQ : 2648510 > > > ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 2+ messages in thread
