I know we're all pretty dense here on comp.lang.ada, so it may not have
been sufficient for " r++ " to post only three times the One True Answer
to all the misinformation that's been posted here and in the ESA report.

I spent many hours analyzing his scriptures, and I have been enlightened.
Allow me to help the rest of you to grasp the prophet's words.

1. We are all wrong. The fault did not abide in the design, nor in the
requirements, nor even in decisions of management; but as judgment
   was the rocket destroyed.

2. Doth not the blame rest upon the programmers who hearkened unto the
voices of infidels, requirements engineers, yea, even managers?
Judge for yourselves whether programmers should obey managers rather
   than themselves.

3. Verily, the profane language Ada bears some blame, for had programmers
remained faithful to the One True Language, PL/I, they would have
been in tune with their own inherent divinity, and would not have
been cowed by the infidel's urging to commit the sins which resulted
in the destruction of their work.
