Could someone who has experience using yacc and lex (or similar tools)
with Ada share their experiences. What sort of problems should one
look for? Are there limitations to what kind of Ada code can be called
from the corresponding lex/yacc actions? Do there exist yacc and/or lex
like tools specifically for Ada (producing Ada code)?

Thanks,

There is a program called ACE (Ada Command Environment) which can be
obtained through the ASSET repository and is also on the Ada Walnut
Creek
CD Rom. This seems uses an Ada version of Yacc and Lex - the generated
code is in Ada. So it seems that this ability is available.

By the way, does any one use ACE or have any experience with it?

The Arcadia project has produced AYACC and AFLEX. Both of these tools
produce Ada code. Contact John Self, self@ics.uci.edu, for more information...
