Hmmm. I'm surprised. Ted doesn't really give the impression of being really
swift like one would think would be associated with anything related to the
fleet footed Mercury of mythology. But then again, I've often thought that Ted
was a myth cojured up in Greg's imagination. But I digress. Perhaps, since it
has more than one letter in it (i.e., is not C) maybe Ted misspelled the name,
and it should really, a Murray bicycle (or trike). This would fit in with the
five forward speeds, since Ted seems never able to change directions, but
always keeps plowing ahead in his relentless zeal for ... I forget, what is the
point of Ted?

In case my musings are all wrong, and Ted really does exist, and really does
drive a car then please post what state(s) he drives in, so the rest of us can
obtain proper insurance.

No. No. No. I don't really mean that last paragraph. But I would suggest that
Ted check the PCV valve on that Merc. From here it appears that it is jammed
and the emissions are smogging up the net.

Larry

P.S. It is curious that Ted has rebutted (not necessarily succesfully) all
responses but quote that dealt with those who fall back on "patriotism."
