In this case, it would cause too much trouble to label the
release of GNAT as 3.0 (since there already was such a release
of GNAT a few years ago). Also, there is no guarantee that
GNAT releases will be syncrhonized with GCC releases, in
particular it is quite likely that GNAT releases will be
more frequent than major GCC releases in the future.
