In an article in Byte magazine, Nov 1991, pg 169 Doris Appleby
writes, in part:
Lisp once languished in research labs, but is now big business.
Not least signififcant in its resurgence is the Department
of Defense's interest in three official languages: Ada, Common
Lisp, and the yet-to-be-developed prototyping language CPL-
a high-level language for trying out experimental systems.
My question is: What is CPL? Any pointers to papers, reports
etc. would be appreciated. If Doris is correct I would expect
that the SEI would be involved so maybe someone there is
a good point of contact. Thanks in advance.
