          Dear Sirs:

I am trying to help a friend with a request for information,
she was informed that posting her request on your bulletin-board
entitled "Info-Ada" would be a good idea. Unfortunately I am not
a internet guru and do not know how to do this, but I do have access
to Internet via SPAN whereas she does not. Can you help us please.
Would you please tell me how and if I am allowed to post messages
to your bulletin board? The message that I would like to post this
          time is as follows:

Title: Request for Ada Environment Evaluations
          Internet Destination: Info-Ada @ AJPO.SEI.CMU.EDU

I am interested in feed back from past/present users of the
          following Ada environments -

o Verdix Ada under DEC ULTRIX (not RISC-Ultrix)
                 o Cray Ada under UNICOS
o Convex Ada under Convex OS

                 In particular our interests are:
                 1. Stability of the environment - how buggy is it? Are
                       compiler/environment problems likely to crater/hinder
a large scale development program on a short schedule
                      (500,000 LOC/9 months)?

                 2. Vendor support - how timely do they respond to user
problems? Are they cooperative? Do they help users
                      develop work-arounds for detected bugs?

                 3. How stable is the Ada Library Manager? Are system-level
                      recompilations frequently required to overcome
                      bugs/shortcomings?

                 4. How well synchronized are the OS upgrades and the Ada
                        upgrades?

                 5. Our application will make heavy use of generics,
separates, and possibly tasking (distributed if
                      available). Any comments?

                 6. How good is the Ada debugger? Is it Buggy?

                 7. General comments.

          Your inputs are greatly appreciated.
