OVERVIEW OF US AIR FORCE REPORT
ADA AND C++: A BUSINESS CASE ANALYSIS
On July 9, 1991, the Air Force released to the public a report of a
business case they conducted to determine under what circumstances
a waiver to the DoD Ada requirement might be warranted for use of C++,
particularly in the DoD's Corporate Information Management program.
The report is titled, "Ada and C++: A Business Case Analysis."
Their conclusion was that such a waiver is not justified at this time.
This report is summarized in the ADACPP.DOC document in the ASR.
Complete copies of this report can be obtained from the address
specified in the ADACPP.DOC file.
