I made a correction to this sentence, and was later inundated with mail
correcting my corrections. Come on, folks! Don't you see the irony in this?
The statement is about ability to make proper use of native language, and it
contains a grammatical error!

My public apologies to both Robert I. Eachus and Alexander Erskine Wise. I'm
probably a worse writer than either of you. The smartass attitude expressed in
my posting was intended to be facetious.

_My_ native language is Ada, until I can find a suitable English compiler. :-)
Anyone interested can continue this discussion on alt.language.english.
