Given that he's posting from a school account, it could very well be the

isnew is an identifier
is new is two reserved keywords

I don't understand what you are talking about, there is no "isnew" reserved
word in Ada. Can you explain more precisely the problem ?

Thanks very much for all your answers.
Actually I am also confused at the first time that I see "isnew" from a
website. But as I am just a beginner of using Ada, so I can't judge whether
it's wrongly typed or not. So I just post it here to get some opinions...
So now I think the word is wrongly typed..Thanks!!

??? "isnew" is a 5-character string literal, "is new" is a 6-character
string literal;
or: isnew is a valid identifier, is new is a sequence of two reserved
words.
