newbie: string to integer converion?

i am using ada to write a cgi program and want to
convert a string passed to the cgi into an
integer type. Any ideas on how to do this would
be appreciated.

One thing you will generally find useful is to learn how to
search through old threads on this newsgroup. This particular
question is one you can VERY easily find in old threads. THe
answer is to use the 'Value attribute. It is also a good idea
to look through the entire list of attributes to familiarize
yourself with these important capabilities in Ada.

How to do it:

In the search field I wrote:

integer to string ~g comp.lang.ada

comp.lang.ada. Then you don't get a lot of noise-hits from other
