Compile to Listing

Another question, :)

my tutor wants me to submit my ada source printed out through a "compile to
listing".
my friends who use win98 say this option is available in the win32 version
of gnat but
problem is i'm using the linux version of gnat and i don't seem to have a
compile to listing option.

does anyone know exactly what compile to listing does, and wether or not
it's on the linux ver of gnat and if not, what could i do that would produce
a similar effect?

Here is what you can do. Read the part of the GNAT documentation
that lists the compiler options (this option does of course
exist on all versions of GNAT). A simple way to get a summary
listing is simply to say gnatmake with no arguments. You can
really help yourself a lot by being familiar with all the
compiler options for GNAT, there are many of them, and many
of them can be useful during all phases of using GNAT, from
tiny course assignments to million line projects.

hint: what letter does listing start with :-)

Listing starts with L in this sentence.

But in this sentence listing starts with l.

Some operating systems think these are different.

Don't be silly - the correct form of the switch is clearly /[NO]DIATRIBE to
enable/disable from the command line; from DCL, it would be

DEFINE/GROUP DIATRIBE SYS$INPUT
text...
