I am about ready to propose a newsgroup entitled "info-flames-and
ad-hominem attacks". Unfortunately, I read this newsgroup in its
digested form, Info-Ada, and therefore cannot just hit the "next"
key to blow away the flame and get to the (just possibly) worthwhile
stuff below it in the digest. Ted, I think you have made your
points well enough for us all to understand. I really think that
further language vs. language battles should be done on a personal
e-mail basis without forcing the rest of us to read it. Please
consider this a courteous and sincere request to cut it out already.
Enough is enough.

Has anyone written an expert system to detect flames in digests and
automatically scroll past them?
