In article <389@opusys.UUCP> you write:

You can get a slightly outdated version of the LRM in electronic form via
FTP from the AJPO.SEI.CMU.EDU host or from the Ada Software Repository
located on the WSMR-SIMTEL20.ARMY.MIL host on the Internet. Any of the
half-dozen companies that redistribute the ASR can get it for you in that
form.

Window Book (617-661-9515) has the LRM in hypertext for the PC. I don't
know what the price is. I have heard that others are doing this, but don't
have any hard references.

I understand that Castle House Pulisher, Ltd publishes it, and I seem to
recall that Prentice-Hall also publishes it. Cambridge University Press has
a series on Ada and might have it. You might check with a bookstore to see.
I think that some textbooks on Ada have included it as an appendix, but I
can't think of any such at the moment.

You can get a single copy free from the Navy Publications & Forms Center,
215-697-1667. I think you may have to do it in writing.

Quantity copies can be ordered from the Government Printing Office (GPO) at
$8.00 per copy I believe, at 202-783-3238.

Some compiler companies have repackaged the LRM for distribution, while
others include it with their product. For example, Verdix includes (at
least in my case included) a copy of the actual manual. I have seen a copy
printed up and distributed with the Alsys compiler in a smaller format. DEC
has taken and inserted their "implementation-specific" notes inline (in red)
in their manual. Grebyn (aside to the pundits: after crediting everybody
else, you think I'm not going to mention this?) publishes the LRM with the
Ada Issues integrated inline.

You can probably also get a copy by taking an Ada training course. I would
be surprised to find that trainers don't at least OFFER you a complimentary
copy with the course.

(p.s. to the pundits: I don't need any disclaimers. I sold all my stock in
Verdix and DEC to buy a house. And my opinion IS the company's opinion - I
own the company!)
