Subject: Porting Projects to Ada

I'm looking for information/experiences (no "general comments"
pls, I got all I want!) on the porting of existing programs from any
HOL to Ada. I'm involved on a project that was done in 'C' and some
assembly (for speed). As with most 'C' people, our
documentation/comments stink. Our user is looking to new platforms as
well as additional functionality (spell development). Add to this,
we'll be doing it in an X environment. Specific comments on the
following will be appreciated:

	-actual vs planned schedule
	-actual vs planned cost
-Ada programmers first, or did you retrain other HOL people?
-any functional impacts on the original system?
	-tradeoff decisions.

If this is discussed in past issues, possibly someone (Mr
Administrator?) could point me to them. Thanks in Advance.
