The Ada Information Clearinghouse maintains a list of Ada Text Books and
abstracts from text books. (I've attached the smaller list, since it's only
some 9K, and since the original request came from BITNET, where they don't
have FTP access.) These files are on the DDN host AJPO.SEI.CMU.EDU
[128.237.2.253]. The first list (attached at the end of this message) is in
the file ~ftp/public/ada-info/text-bib.hlp. The second is in the file
~ftp/public/ada-info/adabooks.hlp. Both are available via anonymous FTP
from the Internet and are updated by the Ada IC staff.
I have seen some Ada books that have been advertised in those bingo card
packs. In addition, many bookstores (at least ones that I frequent) now
have a fair collection of books on Ada. I wouldn't vouch for the quality of
their selections, but time in a couple stores would probably be well spent,
as you would have opportunity to look through some of the books in a little
more detail.
