[From a recent letter from the IEEE Standards Office.]
--------------------
Subject: P1003.5 Ada Language Binding for POSIX (r)
On December 10, 1987 the The IEEE Standards Board approved this project
subject to the following conditions:
subject to the addition of coordination, by circulation of drafts,
with ASC X3.
--------------------
Thus was formally approved the POSIX - Ada working group. Initial meetings
were held 10 November 1987 and 19-20 January 1988 in Washington, and a Birds
of a Feather Session was held at the SIGAda in Boston in November.
Anyone interested in becoming involved with this effort should contact Mjr.
