Ada-Europe organizes annual international conferences since the early
80's.  This is the 8th event in the Reliable Software Technologies
series, previous ones being held at Montreux, Switzerland ('96),
London, UK ('97), Uppsala, Sweden ('98), Santander, Spain ('99),
Potsdam, Germany ('00), Leuven, Belgium ('01), Vienna, Austria ('02).

What makes you think Craeynest's spam was in any way solicited ?

When _I_ filed a complaint Craeynest and/or cohorts responded
that they didn't consider it spam since they had been sending
it previous years and not gotten a spam complaint.  They had
no comment at all in response to my mention of confirmation
requests and confirmation responses, or random challenges.

Even if I don't consider myself spammed by those multiple announces, I
fully support Stefan if it appears that his email address has been
added to a list without his knowing. The fact that his address was
freely available does not make it available for inclusion in
commercial lists.
