GNAT completion problem, cursor came back at the beginning of words

Hi all,

I'm learning Ada language and I have installed GPS to write some source
code.
I see GPS have a nice completion feature but I have a problem with it.
When I type a word and the completion list appears, I select a word in
the list. But at this moment, GPS put the insertion cursor at the
beginning of the completed word instead of put it at the end.

Is it a bug or can I configure GPS to put the cursor at the end of a
completed word?

This will not help, but I can say at least with GPS on Windows, the cursor  
goes at the end of the completed word.

May be a matter of platform ? Which one do you use ?

I use the Debian package version. The GPS about window said "GPS
4.3-5+b1 (Debian) hosted on x86_64-linux-gnu GNAT 4.4.4".

I cannot reproduce this bug on Debian testing either; after I hit Enter
or double-click to select a completion in the menu, the cursor is after
the completed word.  I have the following relevant packages installed:

Are you running GNOME? If so, the settings of input methods have been
known to disrupt the editor in GPS for some people; I suggest you look
into that.

You're true, I'm running GPS under GNOME. I will try an another desktop
manager.

http://library.gnome.org/devel/gtk/stable/GtkIMContext.html

I believe GNOME has an applet, perhaps "keyboard configuration", that
allows you to select among various input methods.
