HOOD is used in Europe, mainly for space (it is funded by ESA), energy and
transportation project. There is information (and further links) about HOOD
on Adalog's page: http://pro.wanadoo.fr/adalog. There are several vendors of
HOOD tools.
Small plug here: if you are interested in HOOD, I'll be giving a half-day
tutorial on HOOD at the upcomming Ada-Europe conference.
