There is a gnatlist mailing list to which I am subscribed , but it seems to be
dormant, as I have not received any messages since May 2001.

A better solution is probably the mail gateway to the comp.lang.ada
newsgroup.  Instructions for subscribing and posing are at

It's not dormant, but not high traffic. Soemthing must be wrong with your 
subscription. Check http://www.lyris.com/help
