Mike Feldman writes,

What does disturb me, though, is that a number of months ago a budding
and very useful discussion on certain PC-oriented Ada compilers was
ruthlessly suppressed (indeed, the forum was shut down for a time!) with
no explanation except a veiled one suggesting "commercialism."

I would like to know (a) if in fact the discussion was suppressed, (b) who took
it upon themselves to suppress the discussion and (c) on what grounds it was
suppressed.

I sincerely hope that the responsible person(s) will respond to the entire
INFO-Ada mailing list because censorship is a matter of intellectual life and
death.
