With any luck, info-ada is again alive and well. It now works like this:
mail list address - info-ada@ajpo.sei.cmu.edu
administrative address - info-ada-request@ajpo.sei.cmu.edu
archives are in the directory /usr/infoada/archive on ajpo.sei.cmu.edu.

If you're on the arpanet / milnet / ddn, whatever, I believe that anonymous
FTP works.
Mail is being routed through simtel20.arpa, courtesy of Frank Wancho, while
we await an upgrade to the hardware at SEI (for those of you who are
interested, the AJPO machine is toward the end of the line on the arpanet,
and new hardware should bring it closer to the Packet Switch Node, thus
alleviating, hopefully the timeout problems).
A number of people have helped establish other internal redistribution
points, particularly NADC and MITRE (well, not quite yet for DC), and have
reduced the number of copies being mailed cross country. I'm still working
on finding a BITNET site that can manage a list server with some 35
addresses, so I can reduce the total arpanet traffic as well (offers are
hereby solicited).
INFO-ADA is bidirectionally gatewayed with the USENET news group
comp.lang.ada, so if your machine gets that, you are encouraged to read it
with that mechanism rather than as a mailing list (if your mailing address
reads user@ajpo.sei.cmu.edu, you are STRONGLY encouraged - since you
shouldn't get this message otherwise).
As always, in the event of an emergency (!), send you cards, letters, phone
calls, etc. to me at the various addresses / numbers below.
