* language problem, NYU A/ED-C's behavior

NYU Ada/ED-C on a PC cheerfully ignores the setting of the
array components to value false even though they were
declared to be true..true in value. As a further check
I printed the value of the array components before and after 
the a:= not a; statement and sure enough they were all true
before and all false afterward. I am sending the printout
to NYU for analysis.  I look forward to the experts answer
as to whether we users are all wrong orwhether all compiler
writers have the same blind spot.
