I have not used AdaMagic, so I can't truly answer your question, but I
have worked a lot with JGNAT, so I might be able to address some
questions regarding that product.
I do know that JGNAT utilizes some Java-specific pragmas and interprets
some programming idioms in a way that is key to implementing certain
Java features. For example, implementing a Java interface is done with
what looks like a type extension of a variant record.
