But!!!!
If you have a Fortran-->Ada translator written in Ada, then you CAN
compile and run your program.
So the original question is not so easily written-off. (And in my opinion,
shouldn't be, because the answer(s) are important to the success of Ada
in the scientific/engineering world).

I for one am getting a little tired of short, nasty, replies from
"real-annoyed-sender"s who pull the reply trigger before they stop
and look at what they're shooting. I've seen a lot of this lately,
mostly on other lists, but I think it is inappropriate to the positive
exchange of information that these lists are supposed to be for.
My apologies to innocent bystanders with singed terminals.
