I see that Intermetrics has finally validated. I've heard that it will be
distributed (essentially) free of charge to qualified users. Is this true?
If so, how does one qualify? And do you get source? (I might be interested
in rehosting it if so.)
And Verdix has a VAX VMS version. That's mildly surprising to me; I don't see
how anyone can compete with DEC on their own turf. What advantages does their
product have over the DEC compiler? Can it call routines written in other
DEC languages?
