There is a thread on this newsgroup regarding the use of the HOOD
method for designing systems in Ada. I have contributed to this thread
but I find it most interesting that as yet all postings in the thread
are from Europeans.

I would be most interested to know whether the HOOD method is used in
the USA at all and if so by whom? And if not, why not?

Also, what _are_ the commonly used methods in the USA for Ada design?

Any information would be welcomed.
