I think Mike made a pretty good response.  I've also responded to two
ignorant anti-Ada comments in comp.lang.misc and comp.programming over
the last month.  I suspect that battling Ada misinformation in all of
Usenet could be a full time job for someone.  Its good that many c.l.a.
participants also participate in other newsgroups and respond as
appropriate.

I hang out there, and do try to respond appropriately to such statements
when they arise. Unfortunately I must have missed that one. In any
event, I don't think your response was any less authoratative or
reasoned than mine.
