Announcing:

A new version of "AdaCGI" (version 1.4) is now available.
AdaCGI is an Ada 95 interface to the "Common Gateway Interface" (CGI).
AdaCGI makes it easier to create Ada programs that can be
invoked by World Wide Web (WWW) HTTP servers using the standard CGI interface.
Using it, you can create Ada programs that perform queries or other processing
by request from a WWW user. AdaCGI was formerly named "Package CGI".

Version 1.4 adds support for "cookies", has much more extensive documentation,
has a few minor bugfixes in the demo programs, and adds an RPM format
distribution for Linux users who use RPM-based systems (e.g., Red Hat).

AdaCGI is open source software and can be used by open source and
proprietary programs without any fees. It's licensed under the LGPL
with the standard GNAT exception (see its source for details).

You can get it at the new AdaCGI home page:
  http://www.dwheeler.com/adacgi
It's available in zip, tarball, and RPM formats.

AdaCGI should appear in Debian distributions in the next few days, I
just uploaded it.

The GNAT exception makes sense for the GPL, but it is
incompatible with the LGPL. It is basically intended as a
substitute for the LGPL, allowing the user more freedom.
