of Software Engineers with Ada experience in a Unix / Linux
environment.  Experience in several of the following areas is required:
C, Assembly, DSP Programming, TCP/IP, client-server architectures, Perl,
lex/yacc, HTML, multi-threading, mathematical algorithms, computer
graphics.
 
Advanced Rendering Technology develops state-of-the-art intranet /
internet based photo-realistic rendering appliances with high
concurrency and algorithmic content utilizing proprietary hardware
accelerator ASICs.  The company is privately held and has offices in
Cambridge, U.K. and Mountain View, California.

This is a commercial user of Ada.  They are not relying on
any government funding or contracts.  They have chosen to use
Ada after evaluating the alternatives, including Java and C++.

I have met some of the people, including Mr. Afshar, and have
looked at the application they are building.  It could be a very
exciting opportunity for someone with experience in Ada, a fair
amount of mathematics muscle, and the willingness to throw 
themselves into a the creation of a whole new generation of 
software appliances.
