It is always surprising how few people read the documentation.
The readme file is of course quite clear that the version in
question is for an earlier version of RedHat, and yet people
keep getting stuck on this. I sometimes wonder if the ease of
posting questions to thousands of people on the web has resulted
in people being even less willing to read documentation than
before -- it sure seems that way.

Anyway, this is certainly an FAQ, the version of GNAT you picked
up does not support Redhat version 5.

There are some adaptations of 3.11p available that do support
Redhat 6, but in any case you might want to wait, we expect
3.12p to be released for Linux early next week (as will usually
be our procedure in the future, the Linux version will get
released first, followed by other versions as they get built,
which should be reasonably fast).

P.S. 3.12p will be RH 6 compatible
