Why not
function veccalc(arg : float) return float is
begin return (3.14159**2)*arg;end veccalc;
;)
If you are making a general purpose library of useful routines,
using the SIMD operations for speed, I for one would be very
interested in what you come up with, whether it's in C, asm,
or Machine_Code.
