I am not sure what tea leaves means here. I am referring to
several customers of ours who have expressed that opinion.
These are also customers who appreciate the fact that you
do NOT have to use the VMS style DCL commands to run GNAT,
but can in fact use something similar to the standard Unix
commands.

Well I am not sure that Alpha/VMS vs Alpha/Tru64 Unix was what
I had in mind when I talked about multi-platform development.
it is hardly surprising that ladebug might have some
similarities to VMS debug. Indeed what you say here really
strengthens my point. If you are working on multiple targets,
you prefer tools that work the same on all targets. I am afraid
that by no stretch of the imagination does VMS debug meet this
criterion, and I am afraid that you will NOT find a debugger
you like on many targets (indeed on such targets as VxWorks,
the only game in town is GDB, since Wind River, has standardized
on GDB, a decision that will be followed by a number of large
players in the near future.
