The sort used will probably be Quicksort too (yes, I know that's not your
point).
I should point out two things here:
1) Anyone implementing something so low-level could always us a child package.
2) This is not really the appropriate package to use if sorting is very
important to you. That would be the *.Maps package (unwritten).

Since we have a "Splice", I can't really sit here and argue that its inverse
function has no business being there. But I'd like to hear a few concurrances
that it needs to be in there before changing things.
