BARCO Display Systems with operation facilities in Kortrijk, Belgium,
Atlanta, Georgia and Portland, Oregon, USA, designs and manufactures
high-resolution monitors, graphics controllers and display subsystems
for highly demanding niche markets such as C4I, avionics, vessel and
air traffic control, industrial process control, medical imaging and
pre-press applications. The products and services complement each
other very well in different areas. Extreme image sharpness for
medical applications and the highest color accuracy for the prepress
industry, are only a few examples of what BARCO stands for.

To support its continuous growth, the Avionics Divison of BARCO
Display Systems is opening several positions for software Development
Engineers. This exciting opportunity involves the development of life
critical, real-time embedded systems utilising the latest available
technology. These applications are used in avionics display systems to
provide Primary Flight Display, Multi-function Display, Engine
Display, Control and Display Unit, etc. The perfect applicant will be
experienced in designing Embedded Real-Time Applications (preferably
with Ada), have knowledge of and experience in Object Oriented
Analysis and Design Methodology. Knowledge of Rational Rose and/or
Apex are especially welcome.

Positions are available in Belgium, Kortrijk, and also in the US,
Atlanta (Duluth).

For the US group located in Atlanta, we are also looking for a
talented, dynamic and autonomous Software Team Leader to head our
Software Development Group (5 people). He or she will require the
technical experience detailed above and also excellent communication
skills and team leadership qualities.
