My own feeling is that it is fine to have brief commercial
announcements about products or services. They should be
informational and brief. But for example, if a vendor has
a new version of an Ada compiler, or someone is teaching
Ada 95 courses or trying to recruit for an Ada job, that
seems fine to me. It is not as though we are overwhelmed
by such commercial messages.

(we might be more overwhelmed by responses to this post,
which comes perilously close to being a troll :-) :-)
