I'm getting started with Ada and Linux, but I see there are 2 distributions:

gnat-3.11p-i686-pc-linux-gnu-bin.tar.gz
gnat-3.11p-i686-pc-linux-gnulibc1-bin.tar.gz

Which would be more appropriate for Red Hat Linux 5.2? (Is there an RPM
package available?)

Thanks.

for red-hat 5.2, use the first one.

it you need RPM's check the Gnat/Linux web site:

http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/~mgk25/linux-ada/

There are rpm packages there (go down to "available files" section)
