many thanks for your help.
I found the needed Ada spec files in
/usr/lib/gcc/i486-linux-gnu/4.3/adainclude
on my machine running Debian/GNU Linux (Lenny) with GNAT-GPS 4.0.1 and
GNAT 4.3.2 (2006).
