                COMPUTER SYSTEMS and SOFTWARE ENGINEERING

                         Dan Accadia, Herzliya
                           June 18-19, 1997

                        FINAL CALL FOR PAPERS

The Eighth Israeli Conference on Computer Systems and Software
Engineering (ISySE'97) invites the submission of papers on all aspects
of the design, development, and analysis of computer based systems,
with emphasis on network computing, parallel and distributed systems,
heterogeneous and flexible information and computation systems, user
interface technology, program development environments, software
management and quality.

The conference will be part of the Israeli Federated Computing
Conference (IFCC). The IFCC will also include the Fifth Israeli
Symposium on the Theory of Computing and Systems (ISTCS), which will
take place in Ramat-Gan on June 17-19, 1997, and the Fifth Bar-Ilan
Symposium on the Foundations of Artificial Intelligence (BISFAI)
which will take place on June 16-18, 1997.

Some joint sessions and workshops with ISTCS and BISFAI will be held,
including the "Karp Challenge" workshop on the afternoon of June 18
devoted to the interaction of computing theory and industrial
applications.

The conference is sponsored by the IEEE Computer Society, Israel Chapter.
