Message-ID: <6q6ho1$924@gcsin3.geccs.gecm.com> (raw)

I have just acquired ada-mode for emacs, version 2.28 which uses the
gnatkr program to find other packages etc.

Unfortunately, I have gnat version 3.07 for SGI which comes with gnatk8.

Can anyone tell me if there is a significant difference in these programs
or is it just a new name?

I have made a soft link from a directory in my path such that gnatkr
executes gnatk8 and it seems to work. Is this always true?

Thanks for any advice (Please reply to newsgroup as I won't be able to
check my email for a while).
