Webster's Ninth New Collegiate Dictionary gives this definition of
"cheap":
"3 a : of inferior quality or worth : TAWDRY, SLEAZY b: contemptible
because of lack of any fine, lofty, or redeeming qualities "
Perhaps that's what they mean. :-)
