REUSABLE ARCHITECTURES SESSION
I am organizing a birds-of-a-feather session at the July OOPSLA Midyear
Workshops "http://www.acm.org/sigplan/oopsla/oopsla98/midyear/" based on
the thesis that:
"Progress in object technology and software engineering has made it
possible to systematically create industrial-strength, reusable,
application area architectures".
These architectures can link together business processes, framework
templates, enterprise object/data models, reusable components and
interfaces. For more details and varying opinions see the postings at:
"http://www.acm.org/sigplan/oopsla/oopsla98/midyear/misc.html" and
"http://www.acm.org/sigplan/oopsla/oopsla98/midyear/contrib/reuse.html".
Any feedback on these postings would be appreciated. Thanks.
It is still possible to participate in the OOPSLA Midyear Workshops.
Please contact me or one of the organizers, as soon as possible, if you
are interested in attending.
